Please note an important change in policy regarding safety involving grills and similar devices.
We have been advised by our insurance carrier that we must comply with the New York State fire code regarding grills and similar devices as follows:
- No hibachi, grill, or other similar devices used for cooking, heating, or any other purpose shall be used or kindled on any balcony, under any overhanging portion, or on the grounds of our Co-Op.
- No hibachi, grill, or other similar devices used for cooking shall be stored on a balcony or on the grounds of our Co-Op..
